Good Morning, Kecskemet!

As busy ceramic bees in the morning, buzzing to get back to our work to feed the gallery space for the show coming soon, we enjoy a little bit of honey with our breakfast. Then again, who doesn’t? Maybe some honey in our tea or maybe some honey on toast. The honey to food options are endless and what’s better then some honey straight from the classic honey bear? … Maybe bee flavored?

Here, in Kecskemet, we aren’t the only ones who think so. Take a closer look?

As it turns out, local bees of Kecskemet decided to not stand for our honey consumption and have been claiming the honey and taking it back for a while. Which would explain the amount of our bee friends who have been hanging out in our kitchen.  Unfortunately, one of them had fallen into the honey and was having a hard time getting out. This photo was taken just before our successful attempts to save it.
