I think we all appreciated having Hildur in our lives while we were in residence at the International Ceramic Studio. She welcomed us on the first day with an incredible meal, toured us around Kecskemet, wowed us with her brilliance, danced us under the table, and is in the running for best dressed at the ICS! In addition to her friendship and guidance we also learned that last year Hildur was an invited artist for SCULPTURE TO WEAR- CONTEMPORARY CERAMIC JEWELLERY a three week symposium for makers of ceramic jewelry and body adornment. Participating artists included: Billie Jean Theide (USA), Hildur Yr Jonsdottir (Iceland), Rimas VisGirda (USA), Randy Long (USA), Nicole Jacquard (USA), Rathonyi Kinga (H), Filotas Viktoria (H), Kaintz Regina (H), Yevgeniya Kaganovich (USA), Jim Charles (USA).
